Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 26, 2026

shouldigo.to ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use our website and how it is used.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information to operate and improve the site:

  • Anonymous usage data: We use Umami Analytics to collect anonymized, aggregate statistics such as pages visited, referrer, browser type, and device type. Umami does not use cookies, does not track you across sites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information.
  • Local preferences: Your settings (such as temperature units and base currency) and your cookie consent choice are stored in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device.
  • Search queries: Country searches are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to or stored on our servers.

2. Cookies

We do not use cookies for analytics or tracking by default. If you accept cookies via the consent banner, Google Tag Manager (GTM) is loaded, which may set third-party cookies for additional analytics and affiliate tracking purposes. You can withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer.

Your browser may also store small amounts of data related to cached assets (fonts, map tiles) as part of normal browser operation — this is not controlled by us.

3. How We Use Information

The anonymous usage data we collect is used solely to:

  • Understand how visitors use the site in aggregate
  • Identify and fix technical issues
  • Improve site performance and content

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or transfer any information about you to third parties. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify any individual may be reviewed internally.

5. Third-Party Services

The site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Umami Analytics: Cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics. No personal data collected.
  • Google Tag Manager: Loaded only if you accept cookies. May set analytics and affiliate cookies.
  • CARTO / OpenStreetMap: Map tiles and geographic data.
  • Google Fonts: Web fonts served from Google's CDN.
  • flagcdn.com: Country flag images.
  • Unsplash: City photography.
  • OpenWeatherMap: Weather data for cities.
  • ExchangeRate-API: Currency exchange rate data.

These services may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies.

7. Data Security

We do not store personal data on our servers. The site is served as static files. We implement reasonable measures to protect the integrity of our content, but no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

8. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
